Better Get Better

So the other card I made for Zali when she was sick was the one below!
I know this one was more suited to her age but the other one suited her personality!!

This stamp is from the Pure Innocence Range, which my sister Angela loves! She sent me some for my birthday.

Items used to create my card:
Stamps: Pure Innocence:Better Get Better
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Pattern Paper:Basic Grey:Urban Prairie 6x6 Paper Pad
Cardstock: Bazzill Smoothies: Strawberry Splash
Copics: Assorted
Embellishments:Doodlebug: Large Brads
Other: Cuttlebug and Nestabilities

Thanks..

Sending Well Wishes...

A few weeks ago, our niece Zali was sick,so I made this card to send to her to let her know we were thinking of her. (Not that she really knew why she got the card as she is only 2)
I purchased a few Kraftin Kimmie Stamp sets a while ago cause they were so different. I really like them, some of them are a little hard to colour especially their hair, but it's a good challange!

So the card I made for her was pretty basic, I made it rather bright to cheer her up! Aparently she loved her card and was more excited that I had put M&M's on it for her! (she thought the large coloured eyelets were M&M's)she also took it to bed with her!

Items used to create my card:
Stamps: Kraftin Kimmie Stamps:Charlotte and words from Pure Innocence Stamp: Better Get Better
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Pattern Paper:Basic Grey: Sugar Rush 6x6 Pad
Cardstock: XPress Graphic Copic Cardstock and Plain White for the base
Copics: Assorted
Embellishments: Doodlebug:Large Eyelets

I actually made 2 cards and couldn't decide which one I liked better, I left the decision up to Anthony and this was the one he choose!

Thanks..

I'm Late..Belated Birthday Wishes

This week I received in store some new Papers from Reminisce. They are the new Fairy Tales Collections. They are soo cute!
The Papers I have are:Through the Looking Glass, I'm Late, Mirror, Mirror, Castle in the Clouds, What big eyes you have!, Through the woods.
Obviously they are based around some of the all time best Fairy Tales.

So when I saw these papers I just wanted to use them all, be sure to check out the back sides of these also, they are great!

So back to my card I made, the stamped image is from The Greeting Farm and the last girl in the Miss Anya Dressy Set, I know she's not really Alice in Wonderland, but she kinda looked a little like her, so I coloured her in to match the papers!! I think she worked!

Stamps: The Greeting Farm:Miss Anya Dressy, Waltzing Mouse Fancy Phrases
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black and Stazon Black
Pattern Paper:Reminisce I'm Late
Cardstock: Bazzill Smoothies: Strawberry Splash, Tropical Breeze
Copics: Assorted
Embellishments:White 22mm Satin White Ribbon, Flowers from Magnolia, Stickles:Rock Candy

For You Son..

So this is the final card I made in this round from the My Guy Ian stamp set from The Greeting Farm.
I know I keep saying this but I really struggle with male cards, but these turned out OK (I thought so anyway). I've also noticed pretty much as soon as I make cards for males (to sell in the store) they sell just as quick, which is good but also frustrating cause then I need to come up with more ideas and cards!!

Items used to create my card:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm:My Guy Ian, Waltzing Mouse: Free Spirit-Sentiments
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Impress:Chocolate
Pattern Paper:Crate Paper
Cardstock: Bazzill Smoothies: Chocolate Cream

My Guy

So, I was on a roll when I was making these cards the other day, like I said, I had already previously coloured all the images, so all I had to do was decide on the colours to match and the card layout. But as it was male cards, I still struggled!!

Stamps: The Greeting Farm:My Guy Ian, Waltzing Mouse: Free Spirit-Sentiments
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Impress Chocolate Ink

Happy Birthday Brother

During the week I had a chance to have a little play with some of my new Greeting Farm stamps (which I have had a while now but haven't had a chance to ink up), so this set is My Guy Ian. Available in store at Creations In Paper.
He kinda reminds me of teenagers these days!

Any way so on Monday on my day off, I had a chance to sit down and colour in!!
I usually stamp out a few images onto my XPress Blending Card in Momento Ink, then when I get some spare time or when the football is on, I sit on the couch and colour in!! I usually take a photo of my completed image after I finish colouring and send it through to my sister Angela, for her to comment on, then I add it to a card some where down the track!

Items used to create my card:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm:My Guy Ian, Waltzing Mouse: Free Spirit-Sentiments
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Pattern Paper:Cosmo Cricket:Joy Ride
Cardstock: Bazzill Smoothies: Almond Cream
Copics: Face:E50,E21,R20 Outline:C1, Hair:E30,E31,E33 Pants:B97,B95,B93 TShirt:BG96,BG93 Shirt:E57,E55,E53

Other: Metal turn and brad

COPIC Certified

Yesterday I went to Sydney and was among 30 lucky people to attend the very first Copic Certification Course offered in Australia.
Marianne Walker and Lori Craig came over from the USA to run the Certification training sessions in Sydney and Melbourne. There wasn't enough time for them to come to Brisbane, so I went to them so I could be taught by the best in the business!!

It was a great day, I learnt heaps and also met some very lovely ladies from other stores in Sydney,Melbourne and The Gold Coast.

I managed to take a few photos towards the end of the day.

Here I am with Lori Craig and Marianne Walker (just had to do the photo opportunity!)

More Cards from the Creative Card Kit

As I mentioned a few days ago, I had made 12 cards from the Creative Card Kit and I still had heaps of stuff left over.

Today I sat down and thought I would actually use the rest of my kit up, well I made another 6 cards and I still have a few bits over. So pretty happy with that.
In total I made 18 cards from The Creative Card Kit.
Below is a photo of the other 6 Cards I made, and like I mentioned, all I added was my Card Bases and my favourite stamps and inks, everything else is included in my kit.

Enjoy your weekend

Thanks...Jules
